Dawn can easily be described as a NERD. She enjoys playing games like World of Warcraft, Dungeons & Dragons, and Left 4 Dead, as well as going to the Renaissance Faire, San Diego Comic Convention, and many other nerdy activities.

 

Dawn also studies martial arts and has trained in Northern Eagle Claw Kung Fu and Shotokan Karate (which she still trains in). Because of this and her love for web design, she has been given the nickname "Web Ninja".

 

Dawn is also a member of a group known as Yakmala - a group that gets together about once a month to watch bad movies like Gymkata or Manos: Hands of Fate and review them comedically. You can compare the event being something like the old TV series Mystery Science Theater 3000.
