Dawn draws inspiration from comic books, tarot, folk lore/tales, and music.
Dawn knew from an early age that she had a talent with drawing the images from her mind and has made art her life. You almost never see this artist without a pencil and paper at hand, sketching away her imagination.
"I have a story in my mind that I want to get out. I can't write it, so I draw it instead." Sometimes it's an image that fills the page to tell a story or at times we see just a single character taking life on an empty page. "Creating characters is my favorite thing to do, I think of their whole life and who they are while choosing a pose or how they look."
Dawn's artistic goals in her life is to draw several comic book stories with some of her characters and to just continue to learn/advance in the area of art. |
